imaging techniques to visualize structures inside the body.
Radiology / Imaging Technologists may be trained in one or
several procedures:
Radiology
Technologist (also called a X-Ray Technologist)
Nuclear Medicine
Technologist (also called a Nuc Med Tech)
CT Technologist
(also called Computed Tomography)
MRI Technologist
(also called Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Mammography
Technologist (also called Mammo Tech)
Diagnostic
Medical Sonographer (also called Diagnostic Ultrasound Tech)
Imaging
positions for the heart and blood vessels (Echocardiography,
Vascular Technologist)
Radiology
positions where a
Registered Nurse is required:
Radiologist

obtains and interprets medical images for diagnosis of disease
